Studio Location

Pilates sessions are offered in Lynn's home studio located in the southwest side of Columbia.

The Pilates room is on a lower level of the home so there is a level of stairs.  If you cannot climb stairs I do not recommend my studio at this time.  Please contact me and I can either rent studio time at another studio or refer you to one of my collegues.

Studio Etiquette

Please turn cell phones off or to silent.

No chewing gum or candy.

Please take off shoes in mudroom.

24 Hour Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be made with at least 24 hour notice.  Failure to do so will result in a full session charge.  

If I cancel with less than a 24 hour notice, you will receive a free session or class if you were signed up that day.

Weather cancellation policy

Check the website before your class or session if there is inclemate weather. If classes are NOT cancelled, but the Columbia Public Schools ARE cancelled, you will not be charged for the class/session if you choose not to attend the class.

Duet Session Prerequisite

ALL clients who wish to take group classes are required to take a minimum of 2 private sessions.  This session enables me to determine your specific needs and level of strength or limitations of injury, etc.  While most clients are able to move into a duet session after 2-3 private sessions, this is not the case for everybody.  I reserve the right to require additional private sessions from you prior to taking duet sessions. 

Attire

Women

Yoga pants, capris, or longer yoga type shorts (close fitting and nothing too short)

Sports bra or sport top.  Form fitted shirt or jacket (nothing too loose or baggy)

No jewelry. Long hair tied up or back.  No perfume please.

Men

Sweat/sports pants or gym shorts (bike shorts required under gym shorts)

T shirt (nothing too loose or baggy)

No cologne

Feet

Grip socks are required.  They are available for purchase.  I usually have a  pair available to borrow/try.
